BEAUTY AND THE BEAST Linsey & Tyler Maxson have graced many stages here in Arizona and are set to perform in the upcoming Hale Theatre production of Beauty and the Beast . If you remember the Maxsons in Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat and The Scarlett Pimpernel you will be excited to see them again in Beauty and the Beast. Beauty and the Beast is the fourth longest running show on Broadway and in the last few years the rights have been released to theaters nation wide. Main St in Mesa, there will be full English productions of Jesus the Christ with a cast of over 400. FREE ADMISSION. No tickets are required. Mesa Easter Pageant April 1–2 and 7-11 at 8pm on the Lawn north of the Mesa Temple Visitor’s Center there will be full English production of Jesus the Christ with a cast of over 400. FREE ADMISSION. No tickets are required. Chair seats are available as well as some lawn areas for blankets. The Spanish performances are on April 3-4 with FREE ADMISSION as well. Nielson Family Hope Benefit Concert - Sat, April 18th at 7pm at Gilbert High School, there will be a benefit concert for Christian and Stephanie Nielson,the husband and wife that were seriously burned in an airplane crash. This will be a fabulous concert featuring Brooke White (American Idol), Jordan Bluth and other wonderful local talent, including Kirsten Milsap, Justin Williams, Debbie Coon, Freddie Ashby, Michele Baer, Aaron Ballard, Dal Albretsen, Roberts Sisters, Richelle Talbot, Tom Chamberlain, Erica Soelberg Dance group, Allyssa Evans and the Jeremy Millar Dance Co. Their literature ranges from (Celtic Women type) folk songs, to pop, to Broadway, to art song, and Opera. The one hour show has been well received and is now booking until the end of June. In this class we will focus on basics, technique, and learn little combinations so you can know how to dance on your own when you go dancing. $40 a month. $40 is the discounted rate that goes up to $50 after the 15th of the month. NO partner necessary.Location: Dance Barn at 2956 E Backus Rd Mesa, AZ 85213. Singles and marrieds welcome!New Ballroom performance team info: Tryouts for team on Jan 8th from 8:15-9:30pm at the Dance Barn.You don't have to have dance background to be on team but we are looking for people with POSITIVE, easy going, flexible, and team building attitudes AND natural dance rhythm. This age range of this team is from teens-young marrieds. TEAM will meet at the Dance Barn, 2956 E Backus Rd Mesa. Thur 8:15-9:30 pm on Thur and 10-noon on Sat. Team is $60 a month Also available -Private dance lessons &Gift Certificates I charge $45/ private lesson and am available Sat morning 9-10 am or 12-1pm. ReZoN8 Dance JUNIOR Swing and Ballroom Dance Class ReZoN8 Junior ballroom class for ages 7-12. Space is limited. Registration fee is $20 and applied to the last month of the session fees. Classes start Saturday, Jan 10th from 1-2pm. Classes will be held on Saturdays 4x a month. Monthly dues would be at a discounted rate of $40 a month if paid before the 15th of the month and will raise to $50 if paid after. A per session $35 costume maintenance fee is required at the beginning of each session. We have fall, winter, and summer sessions. Interdenominational Choir- If you would like to join the ‘Voices of Peace’ choir directed by Holly Ashby, they meet Every Sunday 8pm at the Kimball Stake Center , 32nd Street and Southern in Mesa. Maybe bring a friend of another faith with you.
